The Department of Mathematics provides the following courses for the Department of Tourism, which provide students with the necessary theoretical foundations and practical skills for their further studies and professional career:

Applied Statistics

This course introduces students to basic statistical methods and their practical applications. Emphasis is placed on the analysis and interpretation of tourism data and orientation to research, including understanding the results of studies and their application in practice. Students learn to apply statistical tools in working with economic and operational data.

Mathematics for CR

This course provides basic mathematical knowledge applicable to the tourism industry, especially for financial calculations, service costing and working with economic data. At the same time, it develops the basic mathematical literacy of a university-educated graduate.

The curriculum focuses primarily on practical situations in the tourism environment and promotes students' readiness for employment in middle management in the industry and in public administration.

Type: compulsory

Mathematics Seminar

This seminar is designed to review and reinforce the basic knowledge of high school mathematics that is necessary for successful study at our school. It also develops the ability to work independently with mathematical problems and promotes students' confidence in solving problems.
