Effectiveness of student assessment using AI and traditional approaches

The project aims to compare the effectiveness of student assessment using artificial intelligence and traditional methods (e.g. tests and written exams), especially in teaching statistics. The goal is to test whether AI can contribute to better understanding of the curriculum, personalized feedback, and more effective student assessment.

The Department of Mathematics is heavily involved in the project. The principal investigator is Ing. Stanislava Dvořáková, Ph.D. The other participants are Mgr. Andrea Kubišová, Ph.D., RNDr. Ing. Hana Kotoučková, Ph.D. and Mgr. Miroslav Hanáček, who are involved in data analysis, test development, pilot testing and formulation of recommendations for the use of AI in teaching.
